The first MotoGP in Adelaide and the first on this street circuit. Nobody has hotel data for it yet, which cuts both ways: the city is not primed to triple its prices, and the walkable East End is small enough to go in a weekend once ticket sales start.

Getting there

Adelaide Airport is 20 minutes from the city by taxi and about 30 by the J1 bus. Flights come through Melbourne and Sydney; the direct international list is short.

The circuit is in Victoria Park, on the eastern edge of the parklands. From the East End it is a 12-minute walk; from the western side of the CBD, take the tram to the Botanic Gardens stop and walk through the park.

The last trams and trains leave the city late on race night, but the roads around the parklands close for the circuit — give yourself an hour more than the map says.

Questions

Which day is the race?
Sunday 14 November 2027. Qualifying and the sprint are on Saturday 13 November.
Are these dates final?
They come from the calendar MotoGP and the FIM published on 25 September 2026. That calendar is issued as provisional and confirmed after track homologation, so the slot can move by a week in theory. It has not moved so far.
Can I stay within walking distance?
Yes — the East End is a 12-minute walk from the park, which no other MotoGP round in Australia has ever offered. That is also the first thing that will sell out.
Is Phillip Island still hosting?
No. The Australian round moves to the Adelaide street circuit from 2027.
How many nights do I need?
Three: Friday to Monday. The Sunday race finishes late in the afternoon and the city empties slowly, so flying out the same evening is a gamble.
